Aged Drivers Medical Check Up

Our available modes of payment are: NETS, VISA/MASTER Card, GrabPay, SGQR. We do not accept cash.

Individuals who are 65 years of age or older and possess a Singaporean driving or provisional driving license are required to undergo an Aged Drivers Medical Check Up to assess that they are fit to continue driving.

Class 2B, 2A, 2, 3C(A), 3C, 3A & 3

  • You need to submit the completed medical examination report to Traffic Police prior to your 65th birthday and every 3 years thereafter (e.g. age 68, 71, 74).

Class 4, 4A, 5

  • You need to submit the completed medical examination report to Traffic Police prior to your 65th birthday and for every year thereafter if you wish to drive until the age of 75.
  • Upon approval of your medical examination report by Traffic Police (you may use this e-service to check the status of your submission), you are required to pass the proficiency / enhanced proficiency test before your licence can be validated, booking of proficiency / enhanced proficiency tests can be done at Woodlands Test Centre (WTC) located at 2 Woodlands Industrial Park E4 S(757387).

All medical examinations to be done for the validation of any licence must be within 2 months prior to their birthday (i.e. if your birthday is on 1 September 2020, your medical examination must be done within the period of 1 July 2020 to 31 August 2020). All completed medical examination reports must be submitted to Traffic Police 4 weeks prior to their birthday to facilitate prompt validation of the licence.

It usually takes up to 48 hours for the results to be emailed to you after the check up.

It is preferred that you make an appointment so that we can serve you promptly. You may also choose to walk-in but it may be subject to waiting time.

Medical examinations requiring Chest X-ray are by appointment only.

Yes, we can prepare a hard copy of the results with our clinic stamp on request at no extra charge.
